It’s a story that could originate from a Franz Kafka novel. A person is convicted of murder when in fact there is no evidence. Unfortunately the story is true and it is the story of Enrico “Chico” Forti.

The entire background story regarding what has happened can be found on this link.

The Enrico Forti case has caused many discussions in Italy and can be likened to that which belongs to Swedish citizen Annika Odelberg, but with the difference that here there is hardly any evidence to even tie up “Chico” to the scene of the crime. “Chico”, who is an Interista and who is currently in a maximum security prison in Miami, received support during Sunday’s derby when a banner was held up by the members of the Inter Club Templari who demanded the immediate release of Chico so that he may be reunited with his family.
