Erick Thohir has commented on Inter’s plans during the January transfer window again. The Inter president was interviewed by the Indonesian newspaper Liputan6 during a basketball game between his Satria Muda and Aspac Jakarta and he explained that Inter will perhaps sell a few players who doesn’t need to be replaced with others during this transfer window: “It’s only a few months left and there may be dangers with buying new players because they need time to integrate into the team. In January we will have to review the team: there are positions where we have many players and others where we have fewer. We are looking for players for the positions where there is a shortage.”

Thohir continued: “There are players we’re following, of course. But I prefer not to mention any names. I don’t want to do like other clubs who claim that they want the players and in the end fail to get them, it’s something I would experience as embarrassing. I prefer to act secretly, we are working on several negotiations and if they go well, we will have new players.”
