Paolo Bonolis, reached by Tutto Mercato Web gave a largely positive opinion regarding the Fredy Guarin and Mirko Vucinic swap.

“I think that this operation has not only technical and tactical foundations, but also motivational ones with two players that maybe felt their cycle at respective club closed. Regarding Guarin specifically the Colombian he probably felt that his experience at Inter was over or he thinks himself to be a player that should play that should have higher goals than the current ones at Inter. Vucinic is a player that surely can do well with Mazzarri, he is a real player but he is not exactly a youngster anymore and he’s often been struggling with injuries.”

Regarding the Curva Nord letter Bonolis adds that; “I don’t know what to say really. But I think it is plausible that this kind of swap isn’t popular with a part of the fans. Unfortunately Inter is in an intermediary phase were it has shown itself vulnerable on the market and also in defending itself in the Federation after all these referee decisions. Inter is a club in a settling period. “

Returning to the transfer market Bonolis says; “I am happy that Danilo D’Ambrosio could join. With him and Nagatomo at the flanks the team could finally find some weight in the defense as well. This way we could put a player like Jonathan on the bench, a player who I think would be an excellent addition to a five-aside-team. “

He then continues talking about Jonathan. “I am evaluating the player not the person; notwithstanding  he has evolved a lot these last months I don’t think he can play at Inter. About Hernanes, well he is a player that I like a lot, but at the same time it saddens me to lose a player like Andrea Ranocchia. Unfortunately to cash in you have to sell the players with value. Players like Walter Samuel at the end of their career or the many young players in the squad don’t have a market. And nobody is asking us for Jonathan…”
