Gianluca di Marzio writes on his website about the situation for Andrea Ranocchia’s move to Dortmund:

“Inter can’t do anything on the mercato without selling. What could get the mercato going are sales of Ranocchia and Guarin. Dortmund likes Ranocchia but right now the Germans and Inter are far from reaching an agreement. Today a Dortmund director met with Inter but the offer isn’t higher than 6-7 million euros. Borussia are said to be irritated over the fact that the Italian media knows about their interest in Ranocchia. New contacts are planned for tonight but very much is needed for a deal. Ranocchia could leave, but Dortmund seems to be far away.”
