Understandably due to the geographical location of the newspaper (Rome) Corriere dello Sport is less enthusiastic about the prospects of a transfer for Hernanes from Lazio to Inter. They report that Inter’s initial offer of €11 million and Ibrahima Mbaye was dismissed because it was deemed too low. The deal now seems to depend on the Nerazzurri meeting Claudio Lotito’s demand of €20 million. This could be achieved by adding more cash into the deal after a sale of Fredy Guarin, and it also depends on whether the two sides can agree on the true valuation of Mbaye.
