Collovati: “Finally Mazzarri, Inter needs to play with two strikers”

After having learned that Walter Mazzarri probably will be playing with two strikers in tonight’s game against Sassuolo, the former Inter player and world champion from 1982, Fulvio Collovati was positive:

“Finally, I would say better late than never. I understand the need to provide balance to the team, but Inter must always play with two strikers as they have done throughout history.”

The former center-back also emphasized that Inter now “have to start all over again, as if the season started now. Of course, the most plausible goal is a place in the Europa League, which can’t be discounted.”

Collovati was also in favor of Inter’s purchases in the transfer market: “With Danilo D’Ambrosio, I appreciate his security and boldness in his passing, while the technique of Hernanes is not up for discussion. At Lazio he had lost motivation, but if he comes back to how he was before at Lazio, he will be crucial.”
