Walter Zenga was interviewed by Sport Mediaset XXL and the Inter Legend, who is coaching Al Jazeera in Qatar at the moment, revealed why he’s not coaching an Italian team:

“The problem is that they haven’t called me, but no matter what I’m doing well here. My son was born here , my family is here and I have citizenship. In Italy there is nothing left for me, just my brother. Returning to Europe in a big European club? I’m already in a big club, the club’s owners are from the same family as Al Mansour at City, that doesn’t mean I want to go to City.”

Zenga also talked about Clarence Seedorf’s arrival at the AC Milan coaching bench:

“I would bring Clarence to Las Vegas given the luck he has. He’s a great man, he was ahead when he was 18 years old. He was a player of world class, he has a different appeal than the others. Obviously I’m not wishing him a win against Inter.”

Finally, on the Italian league:

“Juventus and Roma are examples to follow. They are the only two teams I like: Juventus, even 6000 kilometers away, makes you feel how much they refuse to lose. They are always aggressive all over the pitch, they are always hungry. Roma play an entertaining football, the players are having fun on the pitch and it shows. Walter Sabatini should also be given credit, I think he’s one of the best directors right now. But the difference, in both cases, is that there is a project.”
