It came as a bolt from the blue: the news of a possible move for Javier Zanetti to José Mourinho’s Chelsea. It caused many reactions and yesterday the captain calmed Inter’s fans in an interview but transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the door is not completely closed:
“The temptation to play another year is, however, strong and that’s why Chelsea’s plan (to play one more year and then act as Mourinho’s right-hand man in the transfer market) has not yet been definitively abandoned.”
