Rolando: “A non-existent penalty”

Shortly after the final whistle was blown which ended that Inter and Cagliari had drawn 1-1 at the San Siro, goalscorer Rolando was interviewed by Sky Italia.

“We played a good match, especially in the second half, but then we conceded a goal through a non-existent penalty. I’m sorry but this is football. Serie A is tough and difficult, after the penalty they had no more chances and in the second half we dominated. It’s hard to play against teams who defend with 11 men.”

A short moment later he was interviewed by Mediaset Premium where he expressed remorse at not being able to bag all three points.

“We did everything but were only lacking the second goal. It was difficult today, they closed down the spaces when they scored a goal, we had our chances but wheren’t able to convert them. When you have no space to play it becomes difficult for everyone. If I’m diappointed for not having made Thohir happy? Not just for him, it’s disappointing for us, the President, the fans, we all want to win.”
