A few days ago we reported that the former Inter player Dejan Stankovic would be awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the FAI (Irish Football Association) for his performances on and off the pitch. Deki, who won 25 titles during his career, many with Inter, talked about the award: “For me, this award is really important. Winning prices as a player is great, but when you win them when you have retired, it’s even more satisfying.”

When Stankovic received a question about which team that has given him the most during his career, he mentioned no names but it’s obvious that his time at Inter was important: “You always make many sacrifices in your career, but nothing rewards you as when you win the Champions League. Mourinho? I know him very well and I can say that he really is special and for him I would fight to the end.”
