Immediately after the final whistle goal-hero Rodrigo Palacio was interviewed by Mediaset Premium and he was understandably pleased.
“We suffered towards the end but the team deserved the win. If I wanted to score? Yes, I wanted to score, the ball arrived perfectly and it went in, we’re playing very well right now” Palacio concluded, before rushing off to beinterviewed by Sky Sports:
“We all gave a good performance, we ran into some difficulties in the end but we deserved to win the match. The road ahead is still very long, there are several matches left to be played and we have to continue like this, match after match. Luckily the dark period is behind us, now we have to work hard during the weeks and win. My co-operation with Icardi? It’s going well, but I enjoy playing with all my team-mates. Contract extension? We’re very close, there isn’t much missing. Within the coming 10 days I’ll surely sign” Palacio concluded.
