Walter Samuel and Ranocchia have only played two games together this season. During those two games Inter didn’t let any goals in and Sky Sport reports the following:
“Udinese and Livorno, two games and no goals let in. The duo didn’t play together from the beginning because Samuel was injured and Ranocchia was a starter. Then Samuel came back and the Italian sat on the bench for eight games in a row before the one against Torino.Ranocchia was close to join Galatasaray in January and now his contract renewal isn’t at all sure. Against Hellas Ranocchia and Samuel are expected to start together with Rolando. Vidic arrives in summer and maybe another player as well, at the same time Samuel and Ranocchia could be long gone. Mazzarri wants more attitude from Ranocchia.”
