According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Francesco Bardi is now ready to ‘leap’. The young goalkeeper from Inter’s academy is now a force in Livorno. He could represent a turning point for the club similar to the one made in 1982 with the 23 year old Walter Zenga. Inter have great confidence in the young goalkeeper, so much so as to have waived all offers for co-ownership. The boy has among other things accumulated a good experience at international level, having been the goalkeeper of the Italian national side at the Under-21 European Championship. On his trail there is also the specter of Manchester City looming.
