In January, Matteo Bianchetti was loaned to Spezia and in an interview with cittadellaspezia.com, the Defender, who is co-owned by Inter and Hellas Verona, talked about his current situation: “Neither at Inter Milan nor at Verona I had much space, this is actually the first time I have gone to a club that has given me regular playing time. It is a good test, at an important place, to play all the games is a good experience for me.”

I wish Bardi, Bianchetti, Benassi, Crisetig and Longo to play for Inter next season. We had a bad experience in losing our own talents (Balotelli, Santon, Coutinho, Destro and many more), so we really need to develop them.
Unfortunately his situation is symptomatic of the problems young players face getting game time in Italy regardless of their potential. Matteo has shown himself to be a defender of huge promise, although admittedly one with some injury concerns but he has struggled to get game time even when on loan. Hopefully Italy will soon follow the other big leagues in realising the possibilities of giving these guys a chance and the confidence to make mistakes!
I wish i could see you in the next Inter!
andreollis future replacement?
Future replacement on the bench?
I hope he stays with Inter in some form or fashion. Keep loaning him out to develop & then bring back one day.
