According to Sportsmediaset Inter had eyes in Germany watching the Hoffenheim v Mainz clash. Two players the Nerazzurri have been watching recently are Hoffenheim’s Brazilian midfielder Roberto Firmino and the Mainz striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. They can’t fail to have been impressed, both players registered goals in the game as the away side ran out 4-2 victors. Meanwhile, Portuguese newspaper ‘A Bola’ indicates that Inter had scouts present at two matches this weekend, Sporting against Porto and Estoril versus Maritimo. William Carvalho (Sporting) and Fernando (Porto) have long been associated with Inter, although both players price tags could prove problematic.
