I am not a fan of Icardi at all. He has one shot on goal in over a month of matches. However, if we had any type of creative midfielder to orchestrate the offense then perhaps our strikers might actually have better looks at goal. We have no one to unlock the oppositions defensive tactics. So, no matter if we signed Messi, Maradona, Pele, Ronaldo they would never see the ball since we have no one to make a decent pass to them. 🙁

I agree we need a top striker I respect efforts given by both Palacio and Icardi but a lot of chances could have been dealt with a better way netted in goal if a top striker was available
