Walter Mazzarri was interviewed by Inter Channel and gave his thoughts on the development of Danilo D’Ambrosio as well as explaning why Alvarez started the match on the bench.
“Today D’Ambrosio did many good things, it was a big jump for him to make coming here but he is adapting. He still has margins to improve but today he played better than in all the other games.”
“Alvarez? I like him, he’s never on the bench but even he has to feel good. Hernanes has arrived and if Kovacic is to play then logic dictates that someone has to stay out. I have to look at my players form and the moment they’re going through” Mazzarri concludes.
