Corriere dello Sport continue this morning’s coverage of Sampdoria v Inter with more lavish praise for Mauro Icardi. In a boiling hot atmosphere (After Maxi Lopez ignoring the handshake) Icardi kept his cool and delivered on thew pitch. Despite his celebration in front of the Sampdoria fans it was everybody else that seemed to lose their heads. Lopez indeed was not even the assigned penalty taker. The visit to Genoa was a test which Icardi and Inter passed with flying colours according to the Rome based daily newspaper.
