De Jong: “We have so much to play for”

Gazzetta della Sport spoke today with AC Milan’s Dutch midfielder Nigel De Jong about the game against Inter tonight at San Siro.

What has changed since the last derby?
“It’s two different situations. If we remain focused on the midfield, this will be a totally different. We also have new players and a new coach. Now we have the fans behind us and we play for them. I’m sure it’s a different situation for Inter as well.”

If you lose you might miss Europa League?
“The Europa League plays a big part in this derby. We both want to play in Europe, which makes this so much more important. We have so much to play for, so this could be a really exciting evening.”
