Andy Polo is happy with his first few months in Italy, he has found continuity and is ready to apply for a place in the first team next year. Here is how the young Peruvian rates his first time with Inter in an interview with Depor.pe: “I think I did well because the teammates welcomed me in a good way. It was a thrill when I was called in the squad for the last Serie A match against Chievo. The important thing is that I played with the Primavera often and I felt comfortable.”

Polo considers his physical condition as the key to doing well in the early months at Inter: “Luckily I was in good physical condition because I came from the pre-season with the San Martin. Then I quickly learned the language.”

Closing on the Peruvian national team, from which Polo is waiting for a call: “I work to do well abroad and as a result earn the call of the country. I continue to do my job and if the call comes so be it.”
