Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio spoke on Sky about Inter’s negotiations for Cardiff’s midfielder Medel:
“A Chilean Pitbull in black and blue tint. Inter are pressing for Medel, the new target for the midfield. Inter already has the yes of the former Boca and Sevilla player, what’s missing is the agreement with Cardiff City. Inter offered approximately seven million Euros to make him theirs, but Cardiff asked for more, 13 to be exact. They want the same amount as their transfer record of 11 million pounds, which was set last year. Inter is awaiting Cardiff’s decision, and hopes that the requests are lowered considering their relegation to the Championship. Medel is clear, Inter will not give up on the Chilean, and is planning a strategy.”
