Juventus and three time scudetto winning manager, Antonio Conte, have officially parted ways as his contract was terminated by mutual consent. The club posted an official statement on their website and the coach gave his perspective on leaving the club. Here are his words:

β€œIt is a consensual termination between me and Juve on a contract that was set to run another year. We came to a place where I have become aware of and gained the perceptions and feelings that led me to this decision. Winning is difficult and takes a lot of effort wherever you are, but it is inevitable that if you win in a club like Juventus all you have done is fulfilled an obligation given the tradition of the club and this is tiring.

La Nazionale? Right now I am only thinking of the present and the decision and experience. To all Juve fans I want to say that I feel eternal gratitude to them for their affection during my time at Juve. I am proud of the way these three years have gone, and no one can take that away. I want to thank my players who have allowed me to become a successful tactician and helped me to grow. Thanks to the club and Andrea Agnelli who had chosen in a difficult period. β€œ
