La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that Inter’s technical director Piero Ausilio could be having some meetings over the telephone with the leaders of Cardiff City regarding Gary Medel and then fly across the Channel tomorrow. The hope is that the Chilean midfielder could join the team already in the United States. The agreement with the player (a four year contract with 1.8 million per season) is already there, even if they have to negotiate the cost of the player. The difference today is about two million, which could be limited if the player were to give up some premiums.
