TuttoSport report this morning that Inter are working behind the scenes to acquire Roma forward Mattia Destro. The former Inter primavera player is likely to fall down the pecking order this season in the capital. The cost would be large, maybe as much as €25 million. This is a figure that is difficult for Inter unless they can sell both Guarin and Alvarez or Destro arrives as Mauro Icardi’s replacement. According to those closest to the player Destro himself is intrigued by the idea of returning to Milan one day.
