“Coming to Basel was a step forward in my career and not backward. I was surprised that everyone was surprised. I’m In an important team, we battle to win here and we play in the Champions League, this team has won in recent years. The fact that the leading team in the Swiss league has chosen me makes me happy. Inter is an important team in Italy, Basel is very important here. I’m not saying that it is more important than Inter, but Inter is now the the past. This experience will make me grow and learn other languages. It’s another story, for me is important. “With these words, Walter Samuel, during an interview with Rete Uno Sport, talked about his move to Basel after being released by Inter.

Grazie The Wall. I remember at 2012 Inter Tour to Indonesia, im one of the fans who gather at the airports to see them upclose. They’re thousand of fans there and all of them are going crazy when one by one Nerazzuri Player Arrive. Maicon, Chuchu, Pazzini, Coutinho and Especially Zanetti and Milito, one of the fans even run to Milito and hugs him. Then Walter arrive, suddenly the chants & screaming calmed, no one try to touch him. He’s very intimidating LOL.
