Intercepted by the Icelandic press in the mixed zone of the stadium Laugardalsvollur in Rejkjavik, Mateo Kovacic commented on the outcome of last night’s game between Stjarnan and Inter: “It ‘was a good game, also considering the final result of 0-3. Even though I think that during the course of the season we can still improve our play, as this was only the first official match. About Stjarnan Kovacic added: “It’s a good team, I particularly liked their defense. Yet we were still able to score three goals, it’s a good thing for us. The goal before the end of the first half was important, of course. We have to continue like this, I always look for the goal, even though our play can be better.” But had Kovacic studied the characteristics of Stjarnan well? “Yes, there we studied them well even if not in detail since in any case we have to play another game against them. We played well, we must do even better as I said, I hope that it will happen soon.”
