I’m coming home
I’m coming home tell the World I’m coming home
Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday
I know my kingdom awaits and they’ve forgiven my mistakes
I’m coming home tell the World I’m coming Back where I belong
stars in the sky
I’ve never felt so strong eh
feeling like there’s nothing that I can’t try

Just a couple of days ago I booked the flight for my first trip for the season and since then these are the words that have been circulating in my brain. Surely the season started barely two weeks ago with a tough game away against Torino. This was a game that we drew and that we could’ve lost given the circumstances, with the ridiculous penalty that Torino was given. To make matters worse, at the end Vidic was given a ridiculous red card and I don’t think I was alone in thinking “Here we go again”.

Every time you start missing the Serie A it’s like it wants to throw you from a cliff straight away.

“You missed me? All right here you go; a shit penalty and a shameful red card, next time don’t miss me.”

And to be honest, the league isn’t charming me as it did before; however, speaking for all of us, we are still there ranting every game. We might be at the stadium or behind our computers. We could watch the game on TV, or we could stream it in some unknown language. Some live in Italy, some live abroad; we are brothers all over the world gathering to watch our Inter, to suffer with our Inter and to feel joy with our Inter. No matter how dirty this league gets we are still there and now the season is beginning for real.

It is for real because now we are entering the phase where Inter plays games both in the league and in Europe. And it won’t just abruptly end after 90 minutes of emotions for a national team break of games that you couldn’t really care about. On Sunday we play our first game at the Meazza this season. On Sunday we are back home. Danny and me from SempreInter will be leaving Sweden to re-embrace our second home. And by our minds, our mentality and the support for our team all Interisti will be united that Sunday night and in every minute of football that Inter will play during this season.

Forza Inter, Forza Interisti.

The season is starting and we’re coming home
Hoping that Inter will prove the world where WE belong
Knowing the failures and successes of yesterday
Having learned from the past mistakes
We’re coming home, we’re coming home
Aiming for the stars in the sky
We might fail but the last we can do is try
