Icardi talked to Inter Channel at the end of the game and had the following things to say:
“The injury? I went up to head the ball and felt pain in my knee, but I knew I couldn’t go out because I’d leave the team with ten men. When I missed my chance I limped a bit, then for the second chance Icardi put the ball into space and I managed to score anyways. After the game against Cagliari we were all angry and this victory was important to prove that what happened was just an error. I joke a lot with D’Ambrosio for his shooting and everytime he shoots someone deflects it into goal so that he scores”, says Icardi laughing at the end of the interview.
