This has also led to him being excluded from Dunga’s national team call up for Brazil Lance!net had a chat with the midfielder:

The season goals for Inter.

“It is hard to say where we’ll finish. What I can guarantee is that our goal is to fight in the top of the league from the start and to the end of the season. The Serie A is a difficult league but our aim is to finish among the best placed teams. We know that we need to work hard and fight to win as many games as possible. The goal in the league is to be in the top fight, while we aim to go as far as possible in the Europa League. We take one game at a time, trying to win as many as we can.”

About his teammates and the mix if young and older.

“We know that it is very important to have a balance between younger players and some with more experience. With the vitality and energy from the young players and the experience and maturity the older players you can create an interesting wholeness. It is important to have this mix.”

About his arrival in Milan

“I’ve fitted myself into the city, with the fans and the team; I already feel at home. My family also feels at home.”

About the national team

“The Seleçao is still in my plans. I am a young player and the best of my career is yet to come. My goal is to be called up to the Brazilian national team again.”

About Dunga

“I can say that he is a winner; he has won both as a coach and as a player and I think that this time around he is even more prepared and informed.”
