Roberto Samaden: “Bonazzoli from the first minute, a great joy for us”

The responsible for Inter’s academy Roberto Samaden talked to Tuttosport in an interesting interview about a lot of interesting topics starting out with Federico Bonazzoli starting against Saint-Etienne:

“The satisfaction for us is double because more than Bonazzoli starting the game Andrea Palazzi also debuted. Both of them started out with the Pulcini(youngsters aged 8-11 years, Sia’s note) and therefore they are examples of players who have grown with us and who have been formed by our coaches. It’s a great success for the activity of our academy. Bonazzoli has always been destined for success, from when he arrived at our youth sector he has shown with actions that he is an important player and he has taken this place in the starting eleven with the work done on the field, the will and a positive attitude. He is in the first team because in 10 years he has worked a lot and he has clear qualities, and also he has always scored a lot of goals.”

Samaden continues talking about Bonazzoli’s personality and qualities:

“Federico is a great guy, he is very attached to his family and to our academy. Talking about his footballing skills, just as every youngster who starts playing with the seniors he needs to improve. Maybe with his right foot, but the most important thing for him is not to lose what he has already got. He has a great nose for goals.”

Samaden goes on talking about another Primavera talent, George Puscas:
“Puscas has already been brought on as a part of the Romanian national team. Him and Camara will very soon give our supporters satisfactions, but not only them. There are other great talents like the goalkeeper Radu.”

The Italian U-21 team is formed by six players who have been a part of Inter’s academy and now they are also joined by Bonazzoli:

“I believe this is a strong signal. More than the other national teams for the youngsters, the U-21 is the best way to analyze the work of an academy. There are seven of our players, and four of them are a part of the work we’ve done from the beginning. I’m talking about Biraghi, Bianchetti, Bonazzoli and Crisetig. Crisetig came to us when he was 14 but we’ve been following his steps since he was 10 years old.”
