In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gian Piero Gasperini, coach of Genoa once again expressed his regrets over his brief stint with Inter: “I managed to play my football everywhere except at Inter. Many of the players weren’t available until mid-August because they had not been resting for three years.”
