According to this mornings edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, Marseille’s French international striker Andre-Pierre Gignac could be a transfer target for Inter. Sitting on an expiring contract the 29 year old former Toulouse striker has been in sensational form this term bagging ten goals. A new fitness regime implemented by coach Marcelo Bielsa seems to have worked wonders for Gignac and he is now weighing up his options regarding the future. There has been accusations of irregularities following Gignac’s move south in 2010 with Marseille officials even being arrested. His salary amounts to around €3 million with rumours that the club have asked him for a discount on a proposed renewal. The striker could be attractive to Mancini as he can play a number of roles along the frontline.
