According to reports from the “Express” Inter currently has Erik Lamela in their sights. New coach Roberto Mancini is interested in bringing the player in as a winger in his attack.
The Nerazzurri were previously interested in acquiring Firmino but there is serious competition for the player with Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea all interested. Moreover the British press has indicated that United already has an agreement with Hoffenheim to take the player for 20M pounds. The Nerazzurri are not willing to compete for Firmino and have likely moved on to pursue the former Roma player, whose price is not as steep at the Brazilians.
