Diego Simeone seems to have left the door open for Alessio Cerci to leave Atletico Madrid after just arriving this summer. The coach spoke to “SportMediaset” after his teams Champions League match this afternoon in Greece and said this about the former Torino player: “It is not easy. We have so many internationals in the squad. I am the Coach and at the moment unfortunately I am not giving Alessio the time he deserves, but I have to look at what is best for team.”
When asked about the possibility of Cerci being sold in January the coach did not deny the possibility, saying: “You’d have to ask the sporting directors, as they are the ones who work in this area.”
