Seventeen points in fourteen games; a truly abysmal outcome to Inter’s 2014/15 season so far. The last time Inter had a start to a season this bad was twenty years ago, the 1994/95 season with the serie a of 18 teams. Inter finished the first half of the season with 17 points after 17 games.
So things have been worse, but not by much. How many points do you think the team will have when it is time to face off Juventus away on January 6th?

17…
We still have 24 games, so we must work harder to strengthen the squad and lift our mentality. Hatred mentality does not bring any good to our beloved team. So, let’s see how Thohir, Ausilio and Mancio strengthen the squad in January. Until then I do not expect much from current squad. My expectation is low, but collecting as many points as possible will be the priority. Generally, we have to trim the squad to save wage budget and will have a few but key players + promising youngsters. Instead of looking for other teams’ garbage players, we have to rely on our young players. Francesco Bardi, Lorenzo Crisetig, Federico Bonazzoli, Lorenzo Tassi will do well as long as we have a great coach who develops young talents.
What??? That’s not true at all. 2011-12, Inter started their first 14 games 4-2-6, 14 points… What lazy journalism.
That’s not so important. In our situation we must work hard for being consistent for all 90 minutes, not with those ups and downs. We have to work over building playing style and what is most important playing good as a team. Sooner or later if we start playing better and consistent results will come.
I love the attitude everybody, including Ben Sivaoush, and the rest of the editorial team of this site, need to start focusing on the future.
Spot on, we have to work on our playing style which will get us out of this mess.
Which is EXACTLY what Mancio is focusing on and (according to interviews) aware and working on! When the still of play has arrived we can fill the holes in the team (wingers, a regista in midfield, backs etc) with well-picked players!
