Di Marzio: “Cerci no agreement with Milan”

The future of Alessio Cerci remains unknown according to the latest update from Gianluca Di Marzio. The striker that is a target for both Inter and Milan has not yet closed a deal with any club.

“Spain-Italy the line is scorching. The futures of Torres and Cerci are on the line in the upcoming transfer window. After days of negotiations the talks continue but the deal is yet to be closed. Atletico and Milan have agreed on everything (18 months exchange for the players) and Torres has agreed on everything with the club in his heart. But Cerci has not yet said yes to Milan, they are still discussing some financial aspects and other points. Behind the scenes there is also Inter that pushes to get the player. But from Madrid the signals are clear, Cerci either accepts Milan (the clubs are already in agreement) or he stays at the Calderon. The Colchoneros are not backing down, the message is clear. Gil wants the return of Torres at Atletico Madrid. Should Cerci decide to refuse the transfer to Milan then Atletico are willing to let Raul Jimenez go. A brisk and ongoing negotiation with the loan exchange is underway. Before there was the ok between the two clubs to let the players continue training until the announcements now the situations seems that Torres will have to go to Dubai with Milan and Cerci stay with Atletico. This is the situation for the time being unless they find unexpected solutions. The operation is very much still open and the January transfer window is just about to start..”
