The Podolski deal may have gotten a bit more complicated.
“He was not let go (as soon) as Inter hoped,” writes Corriere dello Sport. “But the deal for Podolski is standing and may in any case be completed as early as next week. In short, confidence remains high, although, from the meeting yesterday with Arsenal, Ausiliio came out with a loan application for consideration at around €3 million. In essence, the positive aspect is that the Gunners have anything but closed the door, but they still want cash now.”

Author’s note: I should like to think this would mean Inter would pay €3 million less for him in June? Not really sure what to make of this…
What do you think? Are you any more, or less optimistic as you were before this report?
