Hold onto your pants, it seems Inter might actually be going for Shaqiri. Tuttosport reports:
“Ausilio, the sporting director of the Nerazzurri, has accelerated and is trying to overtake Juventus.”
Podolski, Lavezzi, Salah, all being negotiated…and now Inter are going for Allegri’s number one target.
“The Inter director has established new contacts with intermediaries and agents of the Bayern Munich wildcard, and through the work of the agents, has sent a series of messages that are also interesting to the German club. Therefore, a head-to-head is now looming. All this while this dynamic attacker (which is the priority on the offensive frontline for Allegri) reiterated that the Bayern leaders did not have any intention of renewing the existing contract, which expires in 2016.”
“The proposition Ausilio delivered to the entourage of Shaqiri and the leadership of Bayern provides for a loan with the right to compulsory purchase. Meaning Inter is ready to immediately take the Swiss international, but are reserving the right to make the deal outright from next summer onwards, through deferred payments.”
What are the figures? There is talk of at least €15 million payable in three years. That could reach €17-€18 million with additional bonuses. There seems to be a plan.

Author’s note: What’s that you say? A Derby D’Italia fuori dal, and sul campo. Eh? Eh? See what I di…you did? And you’re not impressed? Okay.
ANYWAY, I really never thought a bid for Shaqiri would be possible given our state of affairs, but it seems it could be. I do hope Ausilio has some friends at Bayern, because he will need to pull all the strings he possible can if we are to have any chance against the gobbi in this. But oh, it would make my year if we were to pull it off somehow. Like I said before, I love that we are trying to see how high we can aim, at least knowing we tried. I suspect Juve to cough up cash immediately in response to this news so as not to give Inter a chance. Even better, at least now, we are forcing our rivals into paying more by creating competition. And we know they’ll be hard to part ways with that money, I mean, they need that money…or else Rocchi might not give a penalty the next foul that happens three yards outside the box…
