Claudio Fenucci, CEO of Bologna, analyzed the crisis of Italian football in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport: “We need reforms that are able to attract investors from abroad, able to give birth to a new generation of stadiums with their experience and skills in fundraising. I think of Pallotta, Thohir, our shareholder Saputo. We need leaders capable to operate in line with the needs of the fans today. Finally, we need a break in relations with the various stakeholders: the fans, that in England and Germany have a different approach, and the players. The norm on youth systems, also to protect the National team, but they open the borders to the immigrants: we will raise the quality of the squads looking for players in markets where we can be more financially competitive.”
