Lazio are getting closer to Wesley Hoedt even though there is yet no agreementwith his club Az Alkmaar. Should there not be an “ok” from the club for the deal then Lazio would change their target and aim for Matija Nastasic. The Serbian defender born 93 is held in very high esteem by Roberto Mancini, so it seems there is Italian competition for Inter.

I doubt we’ll be going after Nastasic this winter anyway… We’ve already invested in Podolski, we’re chasing a difficult target like Shaqiri (or Lavezzi) and we will probably be investing in midfield (Diarra will be the cheapest option there, and it might as well happen that we have to pay up if we go after Lucas Leiva or Paulinho).
