Despite Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers insisting otherwise the Mirror this morning report that the Merseyside club are set to make a splash in the January market. Fabian Delph of Aston Villa is their number one choice for the midfield and indications are that he will be replacing Brazilian international Lucas Leiva. Roberto Mancini has selected Leiva as the man he would like to reinforce Inter’s midfield. It’s believed a bid in the region of £7 million could tempt Liverpool to sell.
