Today, the FIGC federal council represented in the General Director of the Football Association Michele Uva, the General Director of Serie A Marco Brunelli, the President of Serie B Andrea Abodi, Federal Councillor Simone Perrotta representing the AIC, and the President of the AIA Marcello Nicchi, met In Rome at their headquarters discussing the introduction of “Goal Line Technology” into Serie A studying its technical phase and the modalities of the technology which ended by them releasing the following Statement:
“The meeting this morning opened a path that will lead in time to the application of the goal line technology in our country and we are convinced that its use, starting next championship, is inescapable.”
