Bergomi: “I would have replaced Mazzarri earlier”

Speaking live on Tutti Convocati on Radio 24, Beppe Bergomi, the former Inter defender, commented on the match between Inter and Castellani’s Empoli: “I did not expect a match like that by Inter. This is a team that should aim heavily on third place, but the trip to Empoli was a step back.”

The current commentator for Sky Sports also spoke of Mancini and the difference with Mazzarri: “I consider Mancini the best coach there is at the moment in Serie A. I did not think that the club had the financial strength to get him , I would have taken him earlier because the relationship between Mazzarri and the fans had become unbearable.”
