Marco Andreolli is gradually becoming a crucial player for Inter.  The Italian center back was outstanding in Inter’s win against Genoa and looked solid against Empoli.  Today, the former Primavera player spoke to SkySports 24 about his ambitions for the second half of the season:

“The upcoming games will be crucial in the race for third place.  We need to close the gap.  At Empoli we had a quiet game.  They had the ball most of the time and we have taken a step back.  We need to improve our consistency.  If we do that then we can have a go for third place.  The Champions League has to be our goal.  We have to keep that in mind and train hard every day to achieve this goal.  It will obviously not be easy because many teams are in the race, but we have a clear goal for Europe.  Then at the end of the season we will get some money ”
