“The coach is asking us to give a lot, a lot of quality and a lot of running. Today we wanted to give a positive answer on the game against Empoli and even though they had a red card I think that we showed some good responses. Mancini is giving us a winning mentality, a mentality that is suitable for a great team. With Podolski and Shaqiri of course it’s easier for us to play. The Coppa Italia? There are few games and we have to play every game at our best to win it. What has changed with Mancini: The formation, the intensity and the quality has surely changed with Mancini. In a four man defense I have less to cover in defense and no matter who is playing in front of me I can go forward trying to create a one against one situation with their wing back. What the coach is working with at the moment is creating a winning mentality. Coming back to Inter where the great champions have left, the coach is trying to give the team his mentality and the mentality that represents him. We just need time.”
