Inter legend Sandro Mazzola was interviewed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, and here is what he had to say about the Osvaldo situation;
“The game against Juventus started everything, but something else must have happened after. He probably never found a ‘feeling’ with Roberto Mancini, but it is the player that has to put himself at the coach’s disposal. Hotheads have always been present in football but in this case Inter can’t think of keeping him.”
