“The rumor has been circulating the last few days and it is one that Mancini would like, for two reason; Osvaldo is out of the team (yesterday Inter turned down Milan that proposed a swap Osvaldo-Armero between the clubs and Osvaldo has turned down Torino in a deal that would’ve meant Darmian at Inter). Palacio can play around 60 minutes per game, which means Mancini would like to have another attacker at his disposal when the transfer window closes. Naturally he’d like someone who is good technically, like Lavezzi.”

well for shortime period I Think it is a best solution. We desperately need a Playmaker. Kovacic is really has potential to become great playmaker but he seems lack of confident of himself. Againts Empoli and Torino he never create killer pass and rarely creates creative pass to open the scoring (sigh:d)
Of course, Lavezzi first but if not him Cassano is good short term option since Osvaldo is out.
Doubt we can get Lavezzi at this point. Not after Shaqiri/Podolski/Brozovic. Also, where would he play?

Cassano is another crazy world trotter So, I don’t think he would be a long term solution for us. But he is a very talented player and a declared interista, so he can give us a hand for the rest of the season as a sub for Palacio.
Indeed, he’s not a long term solution, but surely can help as a sub.
I don’t think it will happen, though. I think he still wants to play, don’t think he’s ready to be a sub anywhere.
