Yesterday was the first meeting between Inter and the City of Milan for buying the San Siro after the departure of Milan which is scheduled for 2018, the summit took place between Michael Bolingbroke, the deputy mayor Lucia De Cesaris and the Department of Sport president Chiara Bisconti.

According to the BBC, Bolingbroke was keen to clear up all doubts confirming that Inter are committed to support the current modernization planned for the 2016 UEFA Champions League Final, then he went further

“It is one of the four most beautiful stadiums in the world, with the Bernabeu, the Camp Nou and Old Trafford, the Duomo and La Scala, is one of the reasons why people come to Milan from all over the world.”

Then for the first time, he mentioned the idea of Inter owning the Meazza to the City of Milan giving the club six months to make a plan with a possible new meeting scheduled at the end of the season.
