Piero Ausilio was present when the primavera team beat Hellas in the Viareggio final and the Inter sporting director had the following things to say at the end of the game:
“I am happy for the players and for the coach Vecchi because they are serious persons who have worked a lot. Viareggio is a very important tournament for us and we showed that by taking it seriously. The coach and the players deserved this win. We have always cared a lot about our youth section and we have some players that are close to join the seniors, not only Bonazzoli. The coach believes a lot in them and during the coming weeks hopefully other youngsters will have the opportunity to play with the first team.”
