Inter are ready to agree terms with Mauro Icardi over an extension to his contract.
Today Inter made more headway in negotiations after meeting with the player’s agent and they have essentially came to an agreement.
Gianluca DiMarzio’s website reports that the agreement is close with just the last few details to iron out.
There is a little uncertainty on how much Icardi will earn between now and June.
The new contract would begin in the Summer with Icardi set to earn 2.8M Euros a season after taxes.
There is an interesting bonus that would see the Argentine earn even more if he finishes top scorer in Serie A.
It’s also possible that there could be an event at the San Siro to announce the deal.
